The sketch group meets every Tuesday morning from 10 -12 am throughout the summer months to sketch outdoors.  Locations are chosen a few days before and an email is sent out to all members advising them of the place to meet.  We sketch in gardens and public spaces around the island.

 

In the winter months a prompt for a drawing idea is sent out every week.  The drawings and sketches are then circulated amongst members a few days later so that everyone can enjoy the work.

 

We are connected ‘in spirit’ to the Urban Sketchers organization.  Urban Sketchers is a global community of sketchers dedicated to the practice of on-location drawing.  We share our love for the places where we live and travel - one drawing at a time.
