Summer Sketching
It's time once again to pack up your supplies and join the Painters' Guild for their summer sketching around the island.  Sketching can be a bit of a misnomer because for those of us who come, our tools can include:
- camera (with extra batteries)
- watercolour paints
- pencils
- acrylics or oils along with a portable easel or support
-  pastels, felt pens, charcoals, etc.,
- along with any paper or mounts from newsprint to masonite, from
watercolour paper to postcards and sketchbooks, canvas or board
    pre-prepped & ready for painting

It is handy to pack up a little bag or back-pack and include any of the above along with a hat, something to sit on, plenty of water (for yourself and your art medium), a snack. And don't forget the sunscreen.

This season, instead of 12 to 15 sketching venues we have cut it down to just five outstanding locations worthy of two visits on consecutive Wednesdays.  We hope you will agree that fewer is better when you have more time to explore each location.  So please come out and join us in some of the most beautiful locations on Salt Spring Island.

The time for all summer sessions is from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
